Burien Dance Theatre Etiquette and Policies

Thank you for dancing with us. We look forward to a year filled with energy, creativity, and progress.
Information on policies, procedures, and etiquette:
Billing is issued on the first week of every four week term. Payment is due upon billing. We accept cash, check, debit/credit card and online payment. Returned checks will have a $20.00 service fee.
A class consists of more than six people and is one hour in length. Smaller classes and special groups are thirty minutes in length.
Please call or email the dance school if unable to attend a lesson. Regular attendance necessary for progress at all levels. Missed classes due to illness may be made up within the month.
Observation will be the last week of November and February. Please, only one observer per student.
Dress well for class.
Please see dress code sheet. Hair must be kept off the face and tied up or back for all classes. Please wear a bun to all ballet and pointe classes. Please no food or gum in the dance theatre. The dance school is not responsible for lost items. Leave valuables at home and label all belongings.......especially dance shoes!
There will be a holiday show at the Highline Performing Arts Center on Saturday, December 21, 2024 for students who like to perform. It is not a recital, so small classes may be combined.
Our annual recital will be on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at the Highline Performing Arts Center.
